Fall 05:24
Do you remember nothing?
2.
What is this artifice? These arbitrary, hollow, empty signifiers. I've never been sad, no obligations. I could build monuments to my apathy. But I believe, I believe. I feel the light. The light is searing. All sound is violence. I am a collection of unexamined impulses. A slow-burning chemical reaction running course. I walk without purpose. Forgetting over and over. I watch my children grow. I watch my wife get ready for work. I watch my friends drink beer and laugh at jokes. I watch and watch some more and then sleep.

Well I wish you would have let me die, my friend. But I'm sure that as the blood flowed from my head you thought of us as kids. <unintelligible> There's always been a pit in my head sucking all light and air. A wound that pulses but never fully closes, finding ways to remind me of its ugly presence. So I wish you would have let me die, my friend. Do you remember nothing? The blood and hair spattered between sticks and leaves. Coagulating on your temples. Your vision eclipsed, interrupted. Your body collapsing every few paces. Do you mythologize your misfortune? Mapping constellations in an empty, bible black sky. I live on an island inside myself.
4.
<Brain plasticity lecture> I cannot remember anything. Will I ever be the same? I cannot remember. Will I come back? Everything is different now. No taste. No sound. No fear. No suffering. No sight. No feel. No pain. Only burning.

Burning 08:48
Looking into the heart of light, the silence. I saw the strands rebraid. Watched the worlds' colors rebloom. As I awoke in bed clothed in white linens that clothed thousands of sick, maimed bodies before me I said I remember nothing. All is invented. All is mental theatre, recreated days and seconds. Looped visions slow down, speed up, deform, then disintegrate. Burning inside the heart of light. Fragments form discursive sense patterns. Burning inside the heart of light. Disfigured, glorious!
